The UGG Jaylyn DRIFTWOOD is an ultra-versatile update on our iconic boot, which can be styled uncuffed, slightly cuffed, or fully cuffed to reveal a fluffy collar around the ankle. Pretreatment protects the soft Twinface sheepskin from water and staining, while a slimmer toe and contoured fit give a tailored feel. Our signature outsole adds cushioning, traction, and durability and a removable sheepskin insole provides added arch support. Try cuffing up or down, and pairing with classic skinny jeans and a tee.

— The Classic II —
Stain and Water Resistance
The Classic II has been pretreated to repel moisture and protect against staining so that they can better handle surprise drizzles and life's little spills. While these boots are ready to wear right out of the box, we want to help you keep them looking like new and to increase their longevity. Below are our recommended care and cleaning tips along with a customer FAQ to help keep your new Classic II boots looking their best.
stain and water resistance
A few drops on the Classic II won't hurt them, but the Classic II is not meant for rain, snow, or any large amount of liquid. While these boots have been pre-treated to repel moisture and protect against stains, large amounts of liquid or extended exposure to liquid will eventually soak through. The pre-treatment will also eventually wear off over time so we recommend applying our Water and Stain Repellent every few months.
keep your boots looking as good as new
The Classic II should be cared for and cleaned, so blot—don't wipe—spills and stains right away with a clean dry cloth, and use our Care and Cleaning Kit products to maintain their look. We recommend that you use our Water and Stain Repellent to extend the life of the boots and to maintain their water resistance over time. It should be re-applied every few months.
can i wear classic ii in the rain?
You can, but we don't recommend it. If water splashes on your boots they will be okay, but you should opt for waterproof shoes when it rains.
can i wear classic ii in the snow?
Like with the Classic Boot, it is not recommended that Classic II be worn in snow. It is not waterproof, and water can seep in through the seams. These boots are fine to wear when it's lightly snowing or if you're just going to and from your car, but you shouldn't wear them in a blizzard or if you suspect you may have to trudge through inches of powder.
how should i care for classic ii?
Because these boots are pretreated, they are ready to wear right out of the box. However, you should clean and re-treat them every couple of seasons to extend their longevity and keep them looking their best. Use our Care & Cleaning Kit, which has everything you need to protect, maintain, and refresh your boots. We recommend applying our Water and Stain Repellent each season also to keep them protected.
if the material is pretreated, why do i still need the water & stain repellent?
Classic II has been pretreated to repel moisture and protect against staining for up to 6 months of wear. The treatment can wear off over time, especially when rubbed against other materials or surfaces. You will need to re-apply protection, so we recommend using our Water and Stain Repellent.
